Fieldhouse

Five classes

Everything at Fieldhouse serves the same goal: getting strong and staying that way. Strength is the main event, the rest keeps you doing it for years.

Strength

60 min, capped at 10, six sessions a week

Squat, press and pull on a simple cycle that adds weight when you are ready, not when the calendar says so. A coach watches every working set. You lift with the same people most weeks, and the bar goes up over months, not days.

For anyone who has done Foundations, or trained with a barbell before. The room holds strong lifters and nervous returners in the same hour.

When it runs
The training floor: rack, dumbbells and barbell in an old brick-walled gym

Engine

45 min, drop in, no booking

Rowers, sleds, carries and ropes. Nothing clever: simple movements done hard, scaled to whoever walks in. Every Engine is a drop-in, so it is the easiest way to see the club before you commit to anything.

For anyone. If you can walk up the stairs you can do Engine at your own pace.

When it runs

Foundations

60 min, capped at 8, where new members start

Six sessions that teach the barbell from the floor up: squat, hinge, press, pull. Small group, one movement at a time, weights that stay light until your positions are right. Finish the six and you join any Strength class knowing exactly what to do.

For complete beginners, and for anyone coming back after years away. Most of the club started here.

Move

45 min, capped at 12, all levels

Mobility, breathing and control on the mats. Hips, shoulders and spine, worked slowly and honestly. Not a yoga brand, not a stretch-and-chat: the session that keeps the rest of the timetable possible when training adds up.

For everyone who lifts here, and open to people who train elsewhere.

Members mid-session during Saturday Club

Saturday Club

90 min, capped at 20, members and guests

The whole club in one room. Teams, partner work, a bit of noise, and the one session where bringing a friend is encouraged. Twice a year it becomes the club meet, where members test their lifts on a judged platform.

For members and their guests. If you want to see what Fieldhouse is actually like, come on a Saturday.
